This is a promotional image I made for the Virginia Department of Education’s Virtual Family Literacy night. 

I was inspired by the idea of a whole family gathered around a screen and listening to a story.  To me, it felt like the olden T.V. Dinner days of the 1950s, and I wanted to convey that feeling.

Adding some of the time period’s art deco with the brand colors and font came off really well.  It was a fun project.
